Our Dodgeville, Wisconsin location:

Oregon Mental Health Services, LLC (OMHS) is proud to introduce its newest location at 101 E. Fountain St., #2, in Dodgeville, WI!  Services will be provided in the Community Connections Free Clinic (CCFC) building.

CCFC has not had the resources to provide mental health services during clinic hours, but has identified the need to help patients who present with mental health concerns.  OMHS is pleased to now offer our services as part of the CCFC clinic to the individuals and families of Dodgeville, WI.

OMHS has had a strong commitment to serving consumers across the socio-economic spectrum by providing services for those who have Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance, and continues to do so by providing pro bono services for CCFC consumers.  This is a natural extension of OMHS’s service and delivery model: to assist those that are under-serviced with quality mental health treatment in a state certified mental health clinic.  OMHS is also working with other insurance carriers, requesting approval into their networks at this location, to be allowed to service individuals and families that do have private insurance and Medicaid HMO’s.

Mental health services are provided through OMHS by a psychotherapist, a state certified LCSW (licensed clinical social worker), Henry “Hank” Bothfeld, LCSW, as well as a Master’s Level Student Psychotherapist not only during hours that the CCFC clinic is open-Tuesday’s and Thursday’s 12-9pm, but additional times as well to accommodate consumers work schedules.

This new approach to mental health services in Iowa County has multiple benefits…

Patient Benefits:

  • address patient mental health needs when presented during clinic hours

  • provides more flexible appointment times to meet patient work schedule demands

  • provide evidence based mental health therapy

  • collaborative care between physician and mental health therapists

CCFC Benefits:

  • integrated physical and mental health care for patients during clinic hours

  • access to qualified and experienced mental health service providers

  • expand access to mental health services for CCFC staff to refer consumers for a well rounded health care approach

OMHS Benefits:

  • expand OMHS service area to Iowa County and surrounding areas

  • develop a model for mental health services imbedded in a medical clinic

  • exposure to CCFC patients offers OMHS staff an opportunity to further develop cultural competency and training for student interns

We at OMHS look forward to working with Community Connections Free Clinic to support their efforts to improve mental health care for their patients!  We are confident that we can meet the challenges ahead and stand ready to partner with CCFC in delivering an effective mental health care solution.
